China Taiping Insurance Group Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Taiping") is a Chinese stateowned financial and insurance group whose management headquarters is located in Hong Kong. China Taiping Insurance Holdings Company was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2000, making it the first Chinese-funded insurer that was listed overseas. In 2013, China Taiping successfully completed its reorganization and restructuring as well as overall listing synchronously.

Taiping Financial Holdings Company Limited (TPFH), a member of China Taiping Insurance Group, was formally established on June 26, 2012. Comprising Taiping Assets Management (Hong Kong) Company Limited, Taiping Securities (HK) Company Limited, Taiping Capital Limited, China Insurance Group Finance Company Limited, Taiping Trustees Limited, Taiping Financial Investment Company Limited, Taiping Financial Futures (HK) Company Limited, Taiping Financial Holdings Fund Management (Shenzhen) Company Limited and Taiping Assets Management (Cayman) SPC, its business scope includes securities brokerage, asset management, corporate finance, wealth management, research, trusts, loans and others.
